The Marylebone Practice

Medical Aesthetics

Dr Sera Shoukru has been practising in aesthetics since 2010. She has developed a well-established, patient-centred approach to non-surgical aesthetic medicine, underpinned by careful clinical assessment, informed consent and shared decision-making.

Her priority is to ensure that every treatment is safe, appropriate and aligned with each patient’s individual
goals.

Her aesthetic work complements her wider clinical practice in sports medicine, nutrition and whole-body health support, allowing her to take a holistic approach to confidence, wellbeing, performance and healthy ageing.

Aesthetic Practice Services

  • Non-surgical wrinkle reduction treatments Prescription toxin treatments for the face, neck and jawline, as well as treatment for bruxism, or jaw clenching.
  • Hyperhidrosis treatment Prescription toxin treatment for excessive sweating, where clinically appropriate.

Dr Sera also provides toxin treatments for selected medical indications, including hyperhidrosis and chronic migraine, where clinically appropriate.
  • Dermal fillers Conservative facial and lip filler treatments to restore structure, contour and symmetry, with careful attention to maintaining natural expression and appropriate lip shape.
  • Polynucleotide treatments Skin rejuvenation treatments designed to support skin quality, hydration and regenerative processes.
  • Skincare advice Personalised advice on skincare routines and products to support skin health, treatment outcomes and long-term maintenance. Her approach is highly personalised, with a focus on enhancing natural features, restoring confidence and achieving subtle, balanced results — never changing who you are.
  • Profhilo treatments Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity and firmness. Rather than adding volume like a dermal filler, Profhilo works by spreading beneath the skin to support skin quality and stimulate natural remodelling. It is commonly used for the face, neck, décolletage and hands to achieve a fresher, smoother and more hydrated appearance.

A typical course usually involves two treatments spaced around four weeks apart, with maintenance treatments advised depending on individual skin quality and goals Dr Sera has completed numerous advanced aesthetic training courses and is a full member of the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP), reflecting her commitment to high standards of safety, ethics and clinical excellence.

Polynucleotide Skin Rejuvenation with PolyPhil

Regenerate Your Skin from Within
Advanced medical aesthetics, delivered with care.

What Is Polynucleotide Therapy?

Polynucleotides are highly purified DNA fragments that stimulate your skin’s natural regeneration. Unlike fillers that add volume, polynucleotides restore your skin’s vitality by
encouraging it to heal and renew from within.

These long chains of nucleotides—essential building blocks of DNA—enhance collagen production, improve hydration, and support tissue repair. Once injected into areas such as the eyes, cheeks, jawline, neck, or hands, they activate the production of collagen and elastin, gradually improving skin quality over time.

Benefits of Polynucleotide Treatment

  • Deep hydration and improved skin elasticity
  • Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
  • Firmer, brighter, more radiant skin
  • Support for tissue repair and long-lasting results
  • Enhanced skin tone and texture
  • Brighter under-eye area with reduced puffiness

Why We Use PolyPhil?
